Build Your First Watchlist

Your watchlist is the list of stocks and funds you actually follow — one page where live prices, dividend data, and buy signals for those tickers sit together instead of being scattered across research pages.

Two Ways to Add a Ticker

• The heart on any stock or fund page. Research a company, decide it belongs on your radar, click the heart near the ticker header. Done — it's saved.
• Directly on the [Watchlist page](/watchlist). Use the add box to type a ticker or company name and add it without leaving the list. This is the fast way to enter a handful at once.

Starting from zero? The empty state offers one-click starter lists — Dividend Kings, Dividend Aristocrats, and the major index lists — so you can begin with a proven set and prune from there.

What the Table Shows

The default view is the Price Dip Finder: each row shows the live price, today's move, how far the price sits from its 50-day and 200-day averages, the distance below its 52-week high, and a small price sparkline. In plain terms, it answers one question — *which of my stocks are on sale relative to their own recent history?*

Other views slice the same list differently — a full dividend picture, and Pro tracker views that flag when a stock hits your buy price or target yield. See Views, Buy Targets, and Signals.

Prices render in your display currency, converted from each ticker's listing currency — a UK stock and a US stock sit comfortably in the same table. Yields and ratios are never converted, only formatted.

One List That Works Across the Terminal

The real payoff is scoping. Once tickers are on your watchlist:

• The Dividend Calendar and Earnings Calendar can filter to *your* stocks' upcoming dates.
• The News Wire can show headlines for just your list instead of the whole market.
