- Choose Google, or sign up with your email address.
- If you chose email, we send a 6-digit code to verify your address, then you set a password. (A Google sign-in skips passwords entirely.)

You'll land back where you started (or on the home hub) and see a short welcome survey (three quick questions — skippable). It personalizes which part of the guided tour we suggest first. From there, the Getting Started checklist walks you through each tool at your own pace.
Already Used the Old Dividend Data?
If you had an account on the previous version of DividendData.com, sign up with the same email you used before — your subscription and portfolio data carry over. Details in Coming from the Old Terminal.

No. The free plan is free forever — no card, no trial clock. You only enter payment details if you upgrade to Pro.
I signed up with my email — can I use Google sign-in later?
Yes. Accounts are keyed to the email address, so signing in with Google under the same email reaches the same account.
