Coming from the Old Terminal
What carries over from the previous DividendData.com — and the one thing you re-connect.
The Terminal was rebuilt from the ground up in 2026. If you used the previous version of DividendData.com, here's what that means for you.
Your Account Carries Over
Sign up with the same email you used on the old site. If you paid for Pro, your subscription is already active on the new Terminal — no need to buy again; first-time visitors see a welcome banner confirming it. One thing that doesn't transfer: your old password. Choose a new one when you create your account (or just sign in with Google on the same email).
Your Portfolio Carries Over
The first time you open the Portfolio page, your legacy accounts, holdings, and dividend history migrate automatically. Nothing to click, nothing to re-enter.
Brokerage Links Re-connect Once
Linked brokerage accounts (Fidelity for most legacy users) ran on a connection service we've since replaced. That's the one thing that can't transfer: you'll see a prompt to re-link your brokerage through the new connection (Plaid). It takes about a minute and only needs doing once — see Link Your Brokerage with Plaid.
