This fund aims for significant long-term growth of its capital. It commits a minimum of 80% of its total investment pool, including any borrowed funds, to purchasing stocks of smaller companies. These firms are typically identified by market values on par with those listed in the Russell 2000® Value Index or the S&P SmallCap 600 Index at the time of acquisition. While primarily focused on U.S. stock markets, the fund has the flexibility to allocate up to 35% of its net assets to international equities, with a further allowance of up to 10% of net assets for companies situated in emerging economies.
