Choose Which Notifications You Get
Turn each kind of notification on or off, in the bell and on your phone or computer, from Settings → Notifications.
Every notification Dividend Data sends has its own switch in Settings → Notifications. Flip one and it saves right away.
In App and Push
- In App rings the bell in the top bar.
- Push reaches every phone or computer where push is turned on. Push is set per device: turn it on in Settings → Mobile App on each device you want alerts on (details in Install Dividend Data as an App).
For a portfolio notification, push rides on the bell: turn In App off and the push goes quiet too.
Portfolio
- Confirmed Dividend Payments: a linked brokerage registers a payment, with the amount.
- Estimated Payments for Manual Accounts: a reminder on the projected pay date for your manual holdings.
The Notifications card on the Portfolio Settings tab has the same two switches.
Community (Pro)
Community activity always shows inside the Community itself. These switches decide what reaches your devices:
- Messages: direct messages, group chats, message requests, contact requests, and group invitations.
- Posts: replies, mentions, quotes, replies in threads you have posted in, and announcements to @everyone.
- Reactions start off, since they add up fast. Turn them on if you want a buzz for every reaction.
Nothing is pushed while you are already reading the conversation, and a request stops pushing once you answer it. To quiet one busy group without turning off every group chat, mute that group inside the Community.
