Theme, Currency, and Number Format
Light or dark mode, your display currency, and regional number formatting.
Three display preferences shape every page. Theme and currency live in the sidebar foot under Preferences; all three are also in Settings → Display. They apply per device.
Theme
Light, dark, or system (follows your OS). Purely cosmetic — pick what your eyes prefer.
Display Currency
Choose the currency every money figure is shown in — USD (the default), EUR, GBP, JPY, and more, converted at current exchange rates. Two things worth knowing:
- Native mode shows each security in its own trading currency instead of converting — a German stock in euros, a Japanese stock in yen.
- Only money converts. Percentages, ratios, and share counts are unit-free and never change with your currency.
Number Format
Controls separators and decimal style: Auto (follows your selected display currency — pick euros and numbers write themselves the European way), US (1,234.56), European (1.234,56), UK, Indian, or Swiss. It applies to every number on the site — a European format shows a P/E of 27,32 and a yield of 3,45%.
