What Is Dividend Data?
A quick orientation to the Terminal, the spreadsheet add-ins, and how it all fits together.
Dividend Data is a research platform built for dividend and long-term investors. It started in 2020 as a YouTube channel and grew into a full software product — read the story on the About page.
One account gives you everything:
- The Terminal — this web app. Research pages for stocks and funds, a watchlist, a portfolio tracker, a chart builder, dividend and earnings calendars, a news wire, and Pro analysis tools.
- The spreadsheet add-ins — custom functions that pull the same data into Excel and Google Sheets.
What You Can Do Without an Account
Most research is open to everyone: stock pages, fund pages, curated lists, the calendars, and the news wire all work signed out. You'll hit a sign-up prompt when you try to save something (a watchlist ticker, a portfolio) because saved data needs an account to live on.
What a Free Account Adds
A free account is genuinely useful, not a trial: a watchlist (20 tickers), a manual portfolio (up to 20 holdings), the Chart Builder, the full calendars and news feed, and 2,500 monthly data credits for the spreadsheet add-ins.
