- ITAN focuses on companies intangible-augmented intrinsic value, part of which is assessed through four pillars of intangible assets: (1) human capital, (2) brand equity, (3) intellectual property, and (4) network effects. The fund adviser concludes that most companies disclosures omit or give only cursory mention to intangible assets, the fund makes use of non-traditional data as well as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning in its investment process. The fund will generally hold at least 50 securities in its final portfolio, which may include common stocks and REITs.
