Under typical market conditions, the fund allocates at least 80% of its net asset value to a diverse array of U.S. equity and equity-linked investments, primarily common stocks, issued by large-capitalization corporations. A large-capitalization corporation is characterized by having a market capitalization at the time of purchase that is no less than that of the smallest entity currently in the Russell 1000 Index, or alternatively, no less than that of the smallest entity projected for inclusion in the Russell 1000 Index following its next scheduled rebalancing.
