The company's strategic approach involves identifying, negotiating for, and acquiring promising uranium or potash properties. Once secured, UPCO intends to form joint venture partnerships to advance the development of these sites. Its most significant mineral asset is the Ernestina Potash project, an expansive 201,216-hectare landholding located in Alberta. Established in 2001, the company was initially named Utah Uranium Corp. before officially changing to Universal Potash Corp. on July 31, 2008. UPCO maintains its corporate headquarters in Henderson, Nevada.
