- What KPIs does TransUnion report?
- The KPIs tab tracks 14 segment figures that TransUnion (TRU) reports each quarter, including Total International Revenue, Total US Markets Revenue, Africa Revenue, Asia Pacific Revenue, Canada Revenue and Eliminations from Revenue, with history back to the quarter ended December 31, 2018.
- Where do TRU's KPIs come from?
- From TransUnion's own reporting: its quarterly earnings releases and investor documents, its 10-Q and 10-K reports and the financial data tagged in them. Each value is read from the document it links to. Before a metric is shown, its history is cross-checked against an independent dataset or, for a figure that dataset never carried, against TransUnion's own later filings, which print each quarter again; each new quarter passes consistency checks (its scale against earlier quarters and its sign) before it is shown. A segment figure read from the earnings release before the 10-Q or 10-K is filed is marked Provisional until that filing is read, and a figure the filing tags for the quarter then replaces it; a figure computed from reported parts (a fourth quarter as the year less the first nine months, or a gross profit as revenue less cost) is marked as computed, and when TransUnion restates a figure on a new basis, the tab shows where the new basis begins.
- Is the TRU KPIs tab free?
- The KPIs tab is part of Dividend Data Pro. Without Pro, the tab lists every metric it holds for TRU, so you can see what is there before you upgrade.
