- What KPIs does Rio Tinto Group report?
- The KPIs tab tracks 6 segment figures that Rio Tinto Group (RIO) reports each quarter, including Aluminium Revenue, Copper Revenue, Iron Ore Revenue, Aluminium Underlying EBITDA, Copper Underlying EBITDA and Iron Ore Underlying EBITDA, with history back to the quarter ended June 30, 2020.
- Where do RIO's KPIs come from?
- From Rio Tinto Group's own reporting: its quarterly earnings releases and investor documents, its 10-Q and 10-K reports and the financial data tagged in them. Each value is read from the document it links to. Before a metric is shown, its history is cross-checked against an independent dataset or, for a figure that dataset never carried, against Rio Tinto Group's own later filings, which print each quarter again; each new quarter passes consistency checks (its scale against earlier quarters and its sign) before it is shown. A segment figure read from the earnings release before the 10-Q or 10-K is filed is marked Provisional until that filing is read, and a figure the filing tags for the quarter then replaces it; a figure computed from reported parts (a fourth quarter as the year less the first nine months, or a gross profit as revenue less cost) is marked as computed, and when Rio Tinto Group restates a figure on a new basis, the tab shows where the new basis begins.
- Is the RIO KPIs tab free?
- The KPIs tab is part of Dividend Data Pro. Without Pro, the tab lists every metric it holds for RIO, so you can see what is there before you upgrade.
