

Plus500 Ltd (LSE:PLUS) has reaffirmed full-year guidance after reporting its highest revenue for a six-month period in three years, helped by expansion in the US and stronger trading activity. Revenue for the FTSE 250-listed trading platform operator in the six months to 30 June came in at $462.9 million, up 12% compared to the previous year, while customer income increased 24% to a five-year record of $460.8 million.

Plus500 has launched a new prediction markets product for US retail traders, marking its first direct-to-consumer move into the fast-growing but controversial area of financial markets. The FTSE 250-listed trading firm said its US platform, Plus500 Futures, will now offer regulated event-based contracts through Kalshi, the first and only US exchange authorised to list such products.
