The fund aims for substantial long-term capital growth. It primarily invests in equity securities of smaller U.S. companies chosen by the subadviser for their promising earnings growth outlook and attractive valuations. Under typical market conditions, a minimum of 80% of the fund's net assets will be allocated to equity securities of small-capitalization companies, specifically those with market capitalizations comparable to firms included in the Russell 2000® Index. Additionally, the fund has the flexibility to invest up to 20% of its net assets in international (foreign) securities.
