The VictoryShares THB Mid Cap ETF primarily invests, under normal market conditions, a minimum of 80% of its total assets in equity securities issued by mid-capitalization companies. The adviser defines "mid-cap companies" as those whose market capitalizations, at the initial time of purchase, fall within the range of companies represented in the Russell Mid Cap Index. The portfolio typically consists of approximately 30 securities, which are predominantly common stocks. Additionally, the fund maintains the option to include foreign securities in its holdings, such as American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs).

MDCP is an actively managed ETF with a high-conviction portfolio of 29 stocks, overweight in industrials. MDCP quality metrics are excellent. MDCP history is too short to assess its potential. However, it has lagged a passively managed quality mid-cap ETF.

The past week saw a total of 13 ETF launches. There were also a host of material changes to existing funds, and some closure activity.

The second full week of December saw a ramp-up in activity, with 20 launches and several closures. Newcomer ETF issuer Themes ETFs alone rolled out 8 new thematic ETFs.
