This fund primarily allocates its investments to equity securities, particularly common stocks, issued by small to medium-sized American businesses. The Investment Manager defines these "small-mid cap" companies as those whose market capitalization falls within the range of firms included in the Russell 2500® Index. A substantial portion, at least 80%, of the fund's total assets will be committed to these specific U.S. small- and mid-cap equities. The fund also retains the option to invest up to 20% of its assets in securities from companies of varying sizes (larger or smaller) and geographic locations (U.S. or international).
