La-Z-Boy Incorporated (LZB) Q1 2027 Earnings Call Transcript

La-Z-Boy NYSE: LZB reported mixed fiscal 2027 first-quarter results as growth in its company-owned retail business was offset by weaker wholesale volume and continued volatility at its Joybird unit.

La-Z-Boy put out a disappointing Q1 that included declining sales, an earnings loss, and weaker-than-expected forward guidance. Perhaps not surprisingly, shares sold off following the late-day release. Down nearly 20% following the release, I do not view the pullback as an opportunity.

Stock markets are waited on minutes of the Fed's most recent monetary policy meeting for any clues about the forward path on interest rates.

La-Z-Boy (LZB) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.43 per share, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.48 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.47 per share a year ago.
