The fund aims to deliver a robust overall investment return by balancing substantial current income with potential capital growth. Typically, at least 80% of its net assets—including any funds borrowed for investment purposes—will be allocated to fixed-income instruments. This allocation encompasses bonds, notes, debentures, and loans, as well as other investments that Loomis Sayles identifies as possessing similar economic attributes.
