

British cryptocurrency company KR1 said on Tuesday it plans to uplist its stock to the main market of the London Stock Exchange, to enhance its visibility and broaden investor base.

Digital asset investment company KR1 PLC (AQSE:KR1) has invested a total of US$500,000 into decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) Hydra Ventures, in return for 5,000 HYDRA crypto tokens. Hydra Ventures is a newly launched investment DAO focusing on supporting and incubating investment DAOs across the web3 ecosystem.

Digital asset investment company KR1 PLC (AQSE:KR1) has announced a slew of investments into new and existing projects across the blockchain sector. HydraDX and Basilisk are cross-chain liquidity protocols aimed at enabling frictionless liquidity for crypto assets across different chains.

KR1 PLC (AQSE:KR1) said it has consistent revenue from staking activities in a statement released after its annual general meeting on Tuesday, during which all resolutions were passed. The company's managing directors, George McDonaugh and Keld van Schreven, highlighted their belief that the investment case for digital assets remains strong despite continued expected deteriorating market conditions.

Digital asset investment company KR1's portfolio company RedStone has completed a successful US$7mln seed funding round involving Lemniscap, Blockchain Capital, Coinbase Ventures and others. KR1 itself is participating in the round following an initial US$300,000 financing round in July 2021.

KR1 PLC (AQSE:KR1) has invested US$1.5mln into Subspace Labs Inc, a new eco-friendly scalable layer-one blockchain, as part of a US$32.9mln funding round. Coinbase Ventures was among the other investors in Subspace along with Alameda Research and Hypersphere Ventures.
