- What KPIs does KB Home report?
- The KPIs tab tracks 16 operating metrics and 12 segment figures that KB Home (KBH) reports each quarter, including Total Homebuilding Homes Delivered, Total Homebuilding Net Order Value, Total Homebuilding Revenue, Total Homebuilding Pre-Tax Income, Central - Homes Backlog and Central - Net Order Value, with history back to the quarter ended November 30, 2019.
- Where do KBH's KPIs come from?
- From KB Home's own reporting: its quarterly earnings releases and investor documents, its 10-Q and 10-K reports and the financial data tagged in them. Each value is read from the document it links to. Before a metric is shown, its history is cross-checked against an independent dataset or, for a figure that dataset never carried, against KB Home's own later filings, which print each quarter again; each new quarter passes consistency checks (its scale against earlier quarters and its sign) before it is shown. A segment figure read from the earnings release before the 10-Q or 10-K is filed is marked Provisional until that filing is read, and a figure the filing tags for the quarter then replaces it; a figure computed from reported parts (a fourth quarter as the year less the first nine months, or a gross profit as revenue less cost) is marked as computed, and when KB Home restates a figure on a new basis, the tab shows where the new basis begins.
- Is the KBH KPIs tab free?
- The KPIs tab is part of Dividend Data Pro. Without Pro, the tab lists every metric it holds for KBH, so you can see what is there before you upgrade.
