Jubilee Metals Group PLC (AIM:JLP, JSE:JBL, OTC:JUBPF) told investors it has now sold its South African chrome and platinum operations, with the company receiving US$15 million as the the first tranche of deal proceeds. Jubilee Metals has increased the size of its proposed funding round by 30% due to what it said was strong demand during the placing bookbuild. As a result, it will raise £13 million at 5.5p, instead of the £10m originally planned.

Jubilee Metals is to raise £10 million through a placing at 5.5 pence per share, earmarked specifically to help fund its recently announced Green Copper project in Zambia. Green Copper will see Jubilee partner with Abu Dhabi-based International Resources Holding (30%/70%) to process 350 million of waste rock on the surface via a joint venture.
