Their customer base primarily consists of manufacturers of gaming and vending equipment, both within the United States and internationally. Founded in 1988, the company was originally known as Coin Bill Validator Inc. before changing its name to Global Payment Technologies Inc. in November 1994. It operates from its headquarters in Hauppauge, New York.
