It dedicates at least 80% of its net assets, including any borrowed funds for investment purposes, to equity securities issued by companies in emerging economies. These investments are spread across a minimum of six different emerging nations. Up to 20% of its net assets may also be allocated to a combination of: (i) fixed-income instruments from both private and governmental entities in emerging countries, and (ii) a range of equity and debt obligations (such as government, corporate, and bank-issued securities) from developed nations. This fund operates on a non-diversified basis.
