The fund primarily aims to invest at least 80% of its total assets in companies whose main business activities revolve around gold, as well as in physical gold bullion or coins. Up to 25% of its assets can be allocated to gold and other precious metals via a wholly-owned subsidiary. The portfolio largely comprises common stocks of companies involved in the exploration, extraction, processing, or trading of gold. A lesser portion may be directed towards firms dealing in silver, platinum, diamonds, or various other precious metals and minerals. This fund is considered non-diversified.
