The fund's core objective is to generate substantial capital appreciation over the long term. Under typical market conditions, at least 80% of its portfolio is dedicated to equity instruments, which can encompass common stocks, preferred stocks, depositary receipts, and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Its investments span companies based in a minimum of three distinct countries, potentially including the United States. Moreover, the allocation to companies located outside the U.S. will ordinarily be at least the lesser of 40% or the percentage of foreign entities within its benchmark, the MSCI World Index, minus 5%.
