Frequently Asked Questions About ERIE

What KPIs does Erie Indemnity Company report?

The KPIs tab tracks 1 operating metric and 8 segment figures that Erie Indemnity Company (ERIE) reports each quarter, including Total Administrative Services Revenue, Property and Casualty Group Direct Written Premium, Administrative Services - Management Fee Revenue, Administrative Services - Reimbursement Revenue, Investment Income and Policy Issuance and Renewal Services - Management Fee Revenue, with history back to the quarter ended December 31, 2018.

Where do ERIE's KPIs come from?

From Erie Indemnity Company's own reporting: its quarterly earnings releases and investor documents, its 10-Q and 10-K reports and the financial data tagged in them. Each value is read from the document it links to. Before a metric is shown, its history is cross-checked against an independent dataset or, for a figure that dataset never carried, against Erie Indemnity Company's own later filings, which print each quarter again; each new quarter passes consistency checks (its scale against earlier quarters and its sign) before it is shown. A segment figure read from the earnings release before the 10-Q or 10-K is filed is marked Provisional until that filing is read, and a figure the filing tags for the quarter then replaces it; a figure computed from reported parts (a fourth quarter as the year less the first nine months, or a gross profit as revenue less cost) is marked as computed, and when Erie Indemnity Company restates a figure on a new basis, the tab shows where the new basis begins.

Is the ERIE KPIs tab free?

The KPIs tab is part of Dividend Data Pro. Without Pro, the tab lists every metric it holds for ERIE, so you can see what is there before you upgrade.
