(ELMS) was a commercial electric vehicle company specializing in the design, engineering, manufacturing, and tailoring of electric vehicles intended for "last mile" delivery and utility purposes. The firm offered a Class 1 commercial electric vehicle in the U.S. market and was also concentrating its efforts on producing a Class 3 Urban Utility electric vehicle. While headquartered in Troy, Michigan, ELMS, along with an affiliated entity, initiated Chapter 7 liquidation proceedings by filing a voluntary petition in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on June 14, 2022.
