This fund primarily allocates its capital to a portfolio of Flexible EXchange® Options (FLEX Options), which are tied to the performance of both the SPDR® S&P 500® ETF Trust (S&P 500 ETF) and the Invesco QQQ TrustSM, Series 1. Essentially, an option contract provides its buyer with the right, but not the obligation, to either purchase or sell a specified asset at a pre-arranged price by a certain future date. FLEX Options are notable as exchange-traded derivatives that feature distinctively customizable terms. The fund maintains a non-diversified investment approach.

The first week of the year can often be a slow one for the ETF industry, with few new ETFs or closures to be seen.

The industry closed out November maintaining its pace of growth, rolling out another dozen new ETFs during the week. The launches included products from Goldman Sachs, Innovator, SP Funds, Counterpoint, YieldMax, Aztlan, and ETF newcomer Macquarie.
