Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in investment-grade securities and maintains an effective duration within two years (plus or minus) of the portfolio duration of the securities comprising the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. At least 80% of the fund's net assets will be invested in bonds, including government and corporate bonds, mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities, non-U.S. dollar denominated bonds, and U.S. dollar denominated bonds issued by non-U.S. entities.
