( TSX-V: CLZ , DB Frankfurt: 3CC, “Canasil” or the “Company”) announces results from the fourth core drill hole of the 2021 follow up drill program, NRC-21-12, testing below and between the 2020 maiden drill intercepts on the Candy vein at the Nora silver-gold project in north-central Durango State, Mexico. Core drill hole NRC-21-12, targeted the Candy vein structure approximately 60 metres (‘m') down dip below NRC-21-11, and 60 m south of and at the same elevation as NRC-21-09. NRC-21-12 intersected a 12.50-metre mineralized structure with high average gold and silver grades, including multiple bands consistently carrying very high gold and silver grades, as detailed in the table below:

Drill hole NRC-21-10 targeted the Candy vein structure approximately 60 metres (‘m') down dip below NRC-20-04, and NRC-21-11 was targeted between and at approximately the same elevation as NRC-20-04 and NRC-20-06. Both drill holes returned wider mineralized structures carrying multiple bands with high grade gold and silver mineralization compared to the corresponding 2020 drill holes (announced on Oct. 24, and Dec. 09, 2020).

The targets of these four drill holes are below and between high-grade gold and silver intercepts from the 2020 drill holes NRC-20-04 and NRC-20-06 on the Candy vein structure, as previously reported in the news release dated July 06, 2021, announcing the start of the drill program. A total of 790 metres of core drilling has been completed since the start of the program in early July 2021.

The initial focus of the 2021 drill program will be to test below, between and on strike extensions from high-grade gold and silver values returned from the 2020 drill program, particularly drill holes NRC-20-04 and NRC-20-06. The results from the six drill holes along 500 metres of the 3-kilometre traced strike of the Candy vein represent an initial discovery at the Nora project and warrant a larger Phase 2 follow up drill program.

( TSX-V: CLZ , DB Frankfurt: 3CC, “Canasil” or the “Company”) announces closing of a non-brokered private placement (the “Placement”) of 7,900,000 units (the Units”) at a price of $0.10 per Unit for total gross proceeds $790,000, effective May 17, 2021. The Placement was initially announced for $500,000 and subsequently increased to $750,000 through news releases on April 27 and May 11, 2021. The closing of the Placement is subject to final acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange. The securities issuable in connection with the Placement are subject to a hold period expiring four months and one day after the date of issuance. A finder's fee of 6% for $5,700 is payable on part of the proceeds of the Placement. The proceeds will be used to fund continued drill programs on the Company's silver-gold exploration projects in Durango and Zacatecas States, Mexico, and for working capital.
