The underlying index is systematically designed with a rules-based approach, assigning equal weight to each of its constituent elements. It aims to replicate the performance of the hundred premier exchange-traded funds available on U.S. markets. Furthermore, the sub-adviser maintains a policy to allocate, under typical circumstances, a minimum of 80% of the fund's net assets—inclusive of any capital borrowed for investment purposes—to the specific ETFs that collectively form this index.

Some of the most interesting filings in the crypto ETF space are not necessarily new product filings. Potential approval of litecoin and XRP ETFs have stolen the headlines, in addition to some “creative” filings like dogecoin, Trump coin, and other meme coin ETFs.

The past week saw the debut of 13 new ETFs on U.S. markets as well as a host of material changes to existing funds. Among the firms launching ETFs were Harbor Capital, YieldMax, ALPS, and T.

With just nine new ETFs launching on U.S. exchanges, the week ending May 17, 2024, was fairly unremarkable in that regard. However, there was plenty of other activity in the space including closures and name changes.

The week ending November 3, 2023, saw a good number of new ETFs enter the market as well as several closures. In all, there were 14 new ETFs including launches from Defiance, First Trust, Innovator, Roundhill, ProShares, John Hancock, Kingsbarn Capital Management, Dimensional and SRH Funds.

DriveWealth has launched the DriveWealth ICE 100 Index ETF (CETF), a new exchange traded fund listed on the New York Stock Exchange that targets the top 100 U.S.-listed ETFs.
