The fund normally invests at least 80% of the value of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of small capitalization companies. Equity securities include common stock, preferred stock, equity-equivalent securities such as convertible securities, stock futures contracts, equity options, other investment companies, ADRs, REITs and ETFs, and the Adviser may also invest in private placements in these types of securities.
