This fund primarily allocates its investments to the common shares of companies located outside the United States, which its investment advisor identifies as having significant growth potential. A notable number of these companies also possess the capacity to distribute dividends. Ordinarily, at least 80% of its net assets are committed to equity-type holdings, and concurrently, no less than 80% is invested in the securities of non-U.S. issuers. The fund also retains the flexibility to invest up to 10% of its net assets in companies based in developing economies.
