(TSX: BOS) (OTCQX:ABSSF) (the “Company” or “AirBoss”) today announced that AirBoss Rubber Compounding (NC), LLC (“AirBoss NC”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has received a request for information from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina, which is reviewing the Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”) loan received by AirBoss NC in May of 2020, in the amount of US$6.4M. The Company reported AirBoss NC's receipt of the PPP loan and subsequent forgiveness in June of 2021 on its quarterly and annual reports from 2020 through 2022. AirBoss NC is cooperating with the review. The Company cannot predict the timing or outcome of the matter and will provide further updates when appropriate.
