This week, we are mixing things up. I recently had the honor of doing my very first podcast interview. We pulled back the curtain on my entire investing journey, from the early mistakes I made during the 2020 crash to how I grew my main dividend portfolio from $30k to over $320k.

Mindset Shifts:
Question: How does looking at a stock like an actual business change the game?
My Answer: It changes everything. It shifts your entire frame of reference to thinking like a founder or an owner. You stop obsessing over daily price fluctuations and start focusing on the actual products, the competitive environment, and the future cash flows the business will generate.
Portfolio Construction:
Question: What is the sweet spot when building a portfolio of individual stocks?
My Answer: The sweet spot is whatever amount of companies you can truly understand and keep up with. Right now, my main $320k portfolio is concentrated into just six individual stocks. I subscribe to Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger's approach: if you have high conviction, why put your hard-earned money into your 20th best idea when it could go into your top few?
The Power of Tech & Growth: * Question: If I handed you $10,000 right now, where would you invest it?
My Answer: Beyond investing in your own career and earning potential, we talked about why some of my best-performing investments historically haven't been dividend stocks at all. I also shared why I recently moved a portion of my Roth IRA 100% into Nvidia.
