Happy Monday,

It’s Zach here with another weekly investing update for you!

Tracking your dividend portfolio is one of the most important parts of staying consistent. But if you are manually entering stock prices, forward yields, and payment dates into Excel, it becomes a constant grind that only gets worse as your account grows.

That is why I just completely revamped and relaunched my free dividend portfolio tracker. I rebuilt it from the ground up to be significantly better and more efficient.

Here is what is new in Version 2.0:

  • Zero Manual Entry: The sheet automatically updates your prices, trailing/forward dividends, and growth rates.

  • Expanded Capacity: The tracker now supports up to 150 stocks in your account.

  • Faster Loading: It uses 55% less data calls to our API per row.

  • Fractional Shares: Standardized support for fractional shares is now built-in.

  • Deeper Insights: The dashboard automatically calculates your weighted portfolio yield, 1-year dividend growth rate, and daily price changes.

🔮 The Game Changer: 30-Year Forecast Tab

My absolute favorite part of this update is the brand-new Forecast tab.

This is a built-in dividend reinvestment snowball calculator. It takes the portfolio you entered and projects your dividend income up to 30 years into the future.

  • Set Your Goals: Enter a target monthly dividend income, and the tool will calculate the exact year you will hit it.

  • Scenario Testing: See base, bear, and bull cases for your portfolio's growth.

  • Contribution Impact: See exactly how your timeline shrinks when you add monthly cash contributions versus letting it ride with zero additions.

📅 Your Personal Income Calendar

I also completely revamped the Income Calendar. You can now see your projected dividend income broken down by every single month. It clearly outlines your payment schedule, showing you exactly when you need to buy a stock to capture the next declared payout and the exact date that cash hits your account.

How to get it: You can download the template for both Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. Just head over to the templates page on DividendData.com to get it for free, and be sure to install the Dividend Data add-in to power the live metrics.

If you were using the old version, be sure to upgrade—you can migrate your tickers over in about a minute.
