The Stock Screener answers the question research pages can't: *which* stocks meet my criteria? Instead of looking companies up one at a time, you set rules — yield above a level, payout ratio below one, ten years of dividend growth — and the screener returns every stock that passes all of them.

The Data It Runs On
Screens run on the Terminal's nightly rankings data: roughly 7,000 stocks above a two-billion-dollar market-cap floor, refreshed every night, with one listing per company (no duplicate share classes or ADR doubles). The results page always states the data date, so you know exactly what your rules evaluated.
Building a Screen
- Choose from 42 numeric filters across size, valuation, profitability, growth, financial strength, dividends, dividend growth, and capital returns.
- Each rule can compare against a fixed value ("yield ≥ 3%"), another metric ("FCF payout ≤ EPS payout"), or a specific company ("P/E ≤ JNJ's").
- Narrow further with sector, industry, country, and dividend-frequency facets, plus quick flags like Dividend Aristocrats, Dividend Kings, and S&P 500 membership.
How Rules Combine
Every rule must pass — rules combine with AND, never OR. Each added rule shrinks the result list. Stocks missing data for a filtered metric are excluded rather than sneaking through, so tighten one rule at a time if your list empties out.
Results, Sorting, and Saving
The results table shows a column for each metric you screened on — the same nightly values your rules evaluated — alongside live prices. Click any column header to sort, and export the list to CSV. Your whole screen lives in the URL, so a copied link reruns it for anyone with Pro. Open My Screens to save the current screen under a name and rerun any saved screen later.
Start from a Preset
Not sure where to begin? Apply one of the seven curated presets — Dividend Growth, Durable High Yield, Monthly Income, Classic Value, Aristocrats on Sale, Quality Compounders, and High Growth — then adjust the rules to taste. A preset is a starting point, not a recommendation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my screen return no results?
Usually one rule is stricter than intended, or a filtered metric has no data for most stocks (missing-data rows are excluded). Relax rules one at a time to find the culprit.
