- What does XEML invest in?
- XEML seeks to track the performance of an index of the 40 largest publicly traded European companies considered to be market leaders, based on size, liquidity, market share leadership, competitive advantage, and profitability relative to peers. Index constituents must be part of the STOXX Europe Total Market Index, excluding REITs, representing 95% of Western Europes market capitalization across 17 countries. Companies are weighted by their free-float market capitalization, capped at 4.5% each. The Index is reviewed annually and rebalanced quarterly. The fund usually fully replicates the Index, investing directly in all its constituent securities or a representative sample if full replication isnt feasible. Investments may be concentrated in specific industries if the Index is sector-concentrated, and may include ADRs, EDRs, and GDRs.
