TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)---- $VALT #CIFinancial--CI Global Asset Management changes name of CI Gold Bullion Fund (TSX: VALT) to CI Gold Bullion ETF, effective today.

This week saw a total of 17 ETF launches, a major rebound from last week when only six funds debuted and a reversal of the summer trend of fewer launches. ETF closures continued their march forward, with several completing during the week and another handful announced.

Only eight funds debuted during the week ending August 11. The new ETF launches included a sustainable commodity fund from USCF Advisers, two fixed income ETFs from Strive Asset Management, and an options strategy ETF targeting Netflix stock from YieldMax.

SUMMIT, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ETF Managers Group, LLC (ETFMG) announced today that the Board of Trustees of the ETF Managers Trust has decided to close the ETFMG Sit Ultra Short ETF (VALT) based on an ongoing review of market demand. Between now and August 25, 2023, VALT will increase its cash holdings in contemplation of liquidation, and will no longer seek to implement the Fund's principal investment strategy. Trading will be suspended on the NYSE Arca at the closing of the market on August.
